Lee Henderson, the Sales and Marketing Manager from West Trek Tours will be visiting BCIT's Burnaby Campus on March 20th. He will be speaking about the challenges he faces when marketing his service, how he integrates experiential marketing into his marketing mix and about the infamous target market and how he reaches his.
Henderson, with his communications degree from SFU, spent ten years in the Rocky Mountain and Western Canadian Tourism Industry. These past four years, he has been the Sales and Marketing Manager at West Trek Tours. Lee Henderson has worn (and wears) many hats at West Trek Tours such as Guide Trainer + Guide Extraordinaire, having completed 314 trips to the Rocky Mountains by March 20th, 2013 (whoa..). Lee won the prestigious Vancouver Tourism Award in March 2012 - congrats!!
Among many of his talents, skills and quirks, Lee Henderson confesses his love for Wolves or all others in the animal kingdom. If you want to find out why, you'll have to show up on March 20th!
The event will be held in room SW1 1021 at 3:30pm on March 20th.
MPI BCIT is fundraising to meet their goal of a $10,000 endowment fund to support future BCIT students with a MPI Scholarship. Due to this, a $2 donation for MPI members and $5 donation for all non-members is greatly appreciated on attendance. And when I say greatly appreciated, I really mean necessary.
